After the interview of the TET Assam Recruitment 2012, it is now time to wait for the results and look forward for the final selection list. The provisional list of candidates who got the job as Contractual Assistant Teacher had been declared on the night of 26-03-2012 and the same has been published online in the official website.
In the said TET Assam provisional list, the names of district-wise successful candidates will be announced and various other details like performance in the interview, marks scored by candidates in HSLC, higher secondary exam, teacher’s eligibility test and B.Ed. will be made available.

On 27th and 28th March 2012,candidates will be allowed to register their complaints (if any) by filling-up an online form regarding the results published as provisional list. In these two days, those candidates who got selected in more than one district will have to inform about their choice of place where he/she would prefer to join their duty as Asstt Teacher and for those candidates who is selected in both Lower and Upper Primary and has to submit their final preference out of the two categories for being appointed.
On 31st March 2012, the district-wise final result will be declared . On the same day, the signature in the appointment letters will be completed and the same would be distributed by the Chief Minister Mr Tarun Gogoi on 7th or 8th April 2012. The salary of the appointed teachers will be around Rs.10,000-18000 along with some other benefits as admissible by rules.
The recruitment process for the regular posts of TET qualified Teachers will begin from the month of May 2012. On the other hand, the next TET 2013 exam in Assam may be held towards the month of October
